How to Stay Connected with our Class: Fresh Grade, Your Child, and the Blog

Hello Division 2,
Fresh Grade's announcements aren't working at the moment.
As a solution, what you'll notice is that we have tried to migrate information about assignments in to the tasks on the students' Fresh Grade portfolios.

The blog will remain a place where you can check about field trips, read lengthier material about Genius Hour or view classroom activities of special interest. Otherwise, your main source of information should be your child. Rest assured that each day at 2:45, we review the homework boar d in the classroom and answer any questions about upcoming work.

Thank you,
Ms. House and Ms. Holms

Learning to Dance "Mixed Nuts"- This Friday!

We are very fortunate to have been chosen for a workshop with the Arts Umbrella dancers. This Friday afternoon, division 2 will take part in an afternoon  of dance rehearsals in the gym where dancers will teach us the "Dance of the Mouse King". This will be a wonderful introduction to "Mixed Nuts", a modern take on "The Nutcracker".

On December 8th, we'll get the chance to go on a field trip to see Arts Umbrella perform and compare our dance moves with the pros.

Here's a sneak peek:
