Welcome back! An explanation of our digital platforms
Dear Division 2 Students,
Welcome back to school! Ms Holms and I are very excited to get to know you this year. In division 2, we have two digital platforms that help keep parents, students and teachers informed and connected.
The Blog Keeps You Up to Date
This blog is a place where students and their parents meet the teachers, keep up to date on field trips, check assignment timelines, and view other exciting activities in our classroom and community.
Fresh Grade Is Your Child's Digital Learning Portfolio
Students will also be using Fresh Grade, a digital portfolio, that will allow them to upload videos, audio clips, images, and written work for sharing, feedback, and assessment. Parents and students, this is where you will have access to your progress on any learning tasks and feedback on your assignments.
More information on how to sign up for this platform will be available in the coming weeks.
Please subscribe to the blog with your email to receive updates in your inbox.
If you are no longer in division 2, you are welcome to unsubscribe, have a great year!

Amazing Race, June 15th: Call for Volunteers!
Parents, have you ever wanted to go on the Amazing Race? If so, here is your chance!
We are looking for 6 keen parents to participate in the Amazing Race as chaperones. Run, walk, bus, eat, and ferry (?) your way around Vancouver with your son or daughter and their teammates. It's fun (and it's a little crazy).
We are also looking for station/challenge judges- this is a half day commitment and requires no running.
If you are interested in running the race or judging challenges, please email Ms. House.
Thank you!
